Privacy

Impactflow Limited runs this site. We are a company registered in England and Wales, number 12929079. Questions about your information go to James McGilvray at james.mcgilvray@impactflow.uk.

This site

Netlify hosts the site. The site uses no cookies or analytics. Netlify keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, to keep the site running and secure. When you arrive from our printed card, we count the visit. The count holds no information about you.

Booking your framing hour

When you book, here or on Cal.com, we take your name, your email, your challenge in your own words and, if you give it, your organisation. Cal.com holds the booking and sends the invitation, which also lands in James’s calendar and email.

If you tick The occasional note from me, James keeps your name and email with a record of what you agreed to and when. Every note carries a way to stop receiving them.

The box starts unticked, and booking works either way.

So that each email is sent only once, the site keeps a reference number for each booking made here, with no personal details.

Preparing for the hour

Your first hour is worth more when we arrive prepared. Before we meet, James researches your organisation, your challenge and the people involved, using what you tell us and public sources such as your website, published reports and professional profiles.

Working with you

Everything we build for our work with you is held separately from the site: your challenge, our preparation research and the material from the engagement. It is held securely on our own systems, with an encrypted backup at Hetzner in Helsinki, Finland. Once we are engaged, our agreement with you sets out how that material is handled. Your information is used only for our work with you.

Who handles it

Cal.com holds your booking, Resend sends our emails, Netlify hosts the site, and James’s email and calendar hold our correspondence. Cal.com, Resend and Netlify are based in the United States and transfer data under safeguards recognised by UK law.

Our legal basis

Taking your booking is a step you have asked us to take. The occasional note rests on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Preparing for the hour is in our shared legitimate interest in making that hour useful.

How long we keep it

For as long as we work together, and up to two years after our last contact. The occasional note keeps your name and email until you ask to stop.

Your rights

You can see what we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you can stop the occasional note at any time. Email james.mcgilvray@impactflow.uk and we will reply within a month. You also have the right to raise any concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
